Lonestar Cheesburger Food Truck is Missing!

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Lonestar Cheeseburger, previously situated at the intersection of Abe Street and Beauregard Ave. downtown, has officially ceased operations and vacated its location.

The food truck, renowned for its selection of distinctive cheeseburgers and sandwiches, established a strong presence in downtown San Angelo for over a decade. However, the company appeared to have closed its doors this week after becoming an institution in San Angelo.

The City of San Angelo harassed the cheeseburger joint over the "mobility" of its trailer. The spectacle of city bureaucrats forcing a small business owner to "prove mobility" was the most-watched Facebook video in Texas on that day, July 25, 2018, as we live streamed the event. Even the City of San Angelo public affairs office showed up to film the spectacle. The story was read from all around the nation. The owner, Tim Condon, didn't appreciate the label "Wayward Cheeseburger Guy" but the name stuck.

Presently, the lot where Lonestar Cheeseburger operated stands unoccupied next to the Eskimo Hut. Exclusive information obtained by San Angelo Live suggests that a new and exciting food truck option will soon replace Lonestar in the coming weeks. Updates will be provided as they become available, and San Angelo LIVE! is set to feature the exclusive story on the city's newest eatery shortly.

On July 25, 2018, this video that was live streamed on Facebook was the most-watched video in the state of Texas according to CrowdTangle:
