SAN ANGELO – San Angelo could be getting another Starbucks drive through soon. According to a pending $350,000.00 building permit with the City of San Angelo Permits and Building Inspections Dept., Starbucks has applied for a permit to transform the former Bush's Chicken restaurant on Knickerbocker Rd. into a new coffee shop.
According to the November 2023 Inspections and Permits report, Starbucks has a pending building permit for 1225 Knickerbocker Rd.
As we reported earlier, 7Brew opened a drive through just down the road at 1480 Knickerbocker.
According to Starbucks, "From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee but also connection. We’re a neighborhood gathering place, a part of your daily routine. Get to know us and you’ll see: we are so much more than what we brew. We call our employees partners because we are all partners in shared success. We make sure everything we do is through the lens of humanity—from our commitment to the highest-quality coffee in the world, to the way we engage with our customers and communities to do business responsibly."
No word yet on when construction will begin or when the new Starbucks will open.
