SAN ANGELO— A local coffee shop and café is closing its doors for good later this month after serving San Angolans for two years.
The Buttercup Café at the Beauregard Sherwood Way split is closing their doors this month.
The Buttercup made the announcement on Facebook:
With heavy hearts, we find ourselves at the end of a chapter.
We have spent the last year looking for the next owner(s) to shepherd Buttercup into the future. Alas, we have not found that person(s) and we have mad ethe decision that December 23, 2023, will be the last day Buttercup will be open.
We will miss being part of your lives and are thankful we got to know so many amazing people of San Angelo.

Located at 1921 Sherwood Way, the Buttercup Café has been open since 2021 but the café will be closing for good in just a few short weeks.
