SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo is set to get its 12th Dollar General!
According to the City of San Angelo's Building Permits and Inspection Reports for the Month of Sep. 2023, a commercial permit project is pending to build a $1,000,000 Dollar General at 1349 Glenna St.
This would be the 12th Dollar General Store in San Angelo. As for the area where the location is going in, the only grocery store on the south side of Glenna. There are two convenience stores in the area with Stripes on the corner of Glenna and Loop 306 and Allsups at Glenna and Arden.
The new addition would also be next to the Glenna Street Soccer Complex at 1501 Howard St.
No timetable is set for completion yet as the permit is still pending.
