SAN ANGELO – Reece Albert, Inc. paving crews Thursday began paving new sections of College Hills Blvd. near the Millbrook intersection as part of the $33 million dollar upgrade of the roadway including new utility lines, drainage and paving.
Construction on the project from Ave. N to Loop 306 began in May 2022. Crews have replaced water and sewer lines and curb and guttering from Ave. N to Vista Del Arroyo so far, and crews are now paving one side of the street. Once the paving is finished on the side, traffic will be re-routed onto the new pavement and crews will then begin the process of replacing the road surface on the other side.
