Businesses
Chic-fil-a - Restaurants across San Angelo will open at 10:30 a.m.
Bryant Better Hearing - All location will be back in office Thursday morning at 10 a.m.
Concho Valley Regional Food Bank - The Food Bank follows SAISD for all weather related closures and delays. SAISD will be on a 2 hour delay for Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023.
Goodfellow AFB Businesses - Due to weather the BX will close at 6:00 PM tonight, Feb. 1, 2022. The Express will close at 9:00 PM. Burger King is closed today. Domino’s, Subway, Sam’s Burritos, and Dunkin Donuts are open. The Commissary could close early depending on weather.
H-E-B - All locations will close at 7 p.m.
Texas Bank - Bank locations will open at 9 a.m.
The Bank and Trust - Our San Angelo, Sonora, and Kerrville locations will be closing at 3 p.m. today (Tuesday) for the safety of our team and customers. The safety of our team and our customers is always our top priority, and due to the inclement weather we are delaying the start of our day until 10 a.m. at our Sonora and San Angelo locations, and our Kerrville location will be closed to ensure their safety. Dioceses of San Angelo - Due to possible hazardous driving conditions, the offices of the Diocese of San Angelo Pastoral Center and Christ the King Retreat Center will open at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 2.
First Baptist San Angelo - First Baptist Church Office will be closed today, February 1, 2023, due to inclement weather. There will be NO WEDNESDAY EVENING ACTIVITIES. The Church Office will have a delayed start on Thursday, February 2, 2023, and will open at 10:00am. Our Church Office follows SAISD guidelines for weather delays/closures. First Presbyterian Church of San Angelo - Thursday morning Bible Study is canceled tomorrow! Stay warm today!
First United Methodist Church of San Angelo - With the ongoing inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, the Church Office will be closed tomorrow (Feb. 1). The Wednesday Night Refuel classes & rehearsals are cancelled as well. There will be a 2-hour delay on Thursday, Feb. 2 with the Church Office opening at 10am. The FUMC college scholarship deadline will be extended to 5pm on Monday, Feb. 6. For pastoral emergencies, please call (325) 659-4424.

National Prayer Breakfast - The National Prayer Breakfast that was scheduled to be held Thursday at the Convention Center has been canceled.
Government
City of San Angelo Warming Shelter - The City of San Angelo warming shelter is open from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. each night through Friday, Feb. 3, at Carl Ray Johnson Recreation Center, 1103 Farr St. Volunteers are needed to help run the warming shelter; sign up at https://signup.com/go/rwfuiKv. The American Red Cross will provide cots. Animals are permitted but must not be aggressive or disruptive.
City of San Angelo Offices - City of San Angelo offices will open at noon Thursday, Feb. 2 due to inclement weather. We encourage citizens to check local weather services for updates regarding road conditions before traveling. Please use caution when driving in icy conditions and take your time if you have to get out and travel on the roadways.
City of San Angelo Trash Services - Trash service will not operate on Wednesday, Feb. 1, and is planning for a late start on Thursday, Feb. 2 due to inclement weather. The landfill will also be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 1, and delay opening on Thursday, Feb. 2. Thursday customers will receive service on Friday, and Friday on Saturday. Days that were not serviced this week will be serviced next week. Please place your bins out for pickup and leave them out until they are serviced. The City will provide updates as more information becomes available.
Tom Green County Offices - All county offices will open at 10 a.m.

Schools
Angelo State University - UPDATE 3 p.m.
Due to continuing inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, classes at Angelo State University have been cancelled and the university will be closed Thursday, Feb. 2. Essential staff personnel should contact their direct supervisor for further instruction.
Ballinger ISD - With the forecast calling for the freezing precipitation to continue along with very cold temperatures, Ballinger ISD will have a 10:00 start on Thursday (2/2). Buses will run on Thursday two hours later than normal. Please continue to monitor the District’s or our campus’ Facebook sites for further information concerning Thursday.
Bronte ISD - Bronte schools will have a 10 a.m. start on Thursday Feb. 2, 2023
Cornerstone Christian Academy - In response to the predicted continuing icy conditions, Cornerstone Christian School students and staff will have a DELAYED START Thursday, February 2, 2023. This DELAYED START is the initial decision that has been made in the safety interests of our shareholders for Thursday, February 2, 2023. The DELAYED START on THURSDAY, February 2, 2023 also provides the CCS Administration team time to survey the road conditions following sunrise and pivot as needed to ensure the safety of our people. A full closure has not been ruled out, but at this time and until after sunrise Thursday, the decision has been set at a DELAYED START for THURSDAY, February 2, 2023. CCS Administration continues watching weather and road conditions through the National Weather Service, TxDOT, the Department of Public Safety and other local agencies. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority.
Crocket County CCSD - Crocket county CCSD will have a late start on Thursday Feb. 2, 2023.
Eden CISD - As our district stays in communication with the Concho County Sheriff's Office and TXDOT, we are tentatively scheduling an 11 am start for Thursday. No buses will run. We will re-evaluate the state of the roads early in the morning.
Grape Creek ISD - Grape Creek ISD is canceling classes tomorrow Thursday, February 2, 2023. At this time, we are planning on classes to resume and follow a regular schedule for Friday, February 3, 2023 but this is subject to change.
Howard College - There will be a 2 hour delay on Thursday 2/2/23. All classes starting before 10am are cancelled. Offices will open at 10am.
Menard ISD - Menard ISD will resume classes on Thursday, February 2nd, at 11 AM.
Miles ISD - Due to the icy road conditions on bridges and overpasses and continued precipitation and freezing temperatures, Miles ISD will have a 10am start on Thursday, February 2nd, and buses will run hours late. Please stay warm and safe!
Paint Rock ISD - On Thursday, school will start at 10:00 am. We will start buses 2 1/2 hours later than normal times. Please stay warm and safe.
Reagan County ISD - RCISD will have a 10:00am start on Thursday, Feb. 2.
Robert Lee ISD - Robert Lee schools will have a 10 a.m. start on Thursday Feb. 2, 2023
San Angelo Christian Academy - SACA will have a 10:00 start on Thursday Feb. 2, 2023. Stay warm and safe.
San Angelo ISD - SAISD campuses and offices will begin operating on a 2-hour DELAY on Thursday, February 2, 2023 due to inclement weather.
UPDATE 3 P.M.
Due to expected continued precipitation and freezing temperatures throughout the night and early morning which cause dangerous driving situations such as black ice for our families, young drivers and staff members, San Angelo ISD campuses and offices will be CLOSED Thursday, February 2, 2023 for the safety of our students and staff. SAISD has been in constant contact with the National Weather Service, TxDOT, the Department of Public Safety, and other local agencies. It is important to note that decisions made regarding school delays and/or closures are not based on temperature, but icy road conditions that make travel dangerous.
San Angelo TLCA - Thursday, February 2, 2023: Campuses will operate on a TWO HOUR DELAY with buses running two hours later than normal pick-up times. In the event of a closure due to weather or road conditions, we will quickly update utilizing District resources (website, email, text and social media). Friday, February 3, 2023: Per the 2022-2023 School Calendar there is a scheduled Early Release for students at 12:30 p.m. with a Staff Development day following.

UPDATE FOR Thursday, February 2, 2023 Texas Leadership District Administration has continued actively monitoring both weather and road conditions. Due to continued precipitation that will create hazardous road conditions, our campus will remain closed for Thursday, February 2, 2023. IN REGARDS TO Friday, February 3, 2023 In an effort to be proactive, our plan is for students to attend a FULL DAY of classes. This decision was made to ensure our students are able to make up missed instructional time during the week due to the bad weather days. Please note that in the event of another delay or closure due to weather or road conditions, we will quickly update families utilizing District resources (website, email, text and social media). Schleicher County ISD - Due to continued weather conditions, SCISD will have a late start THURSDAY, February 2nd at 10:00 am and buses will run 2 hours late. We will continue to monitor the weather and make updates as needed and notify you by our ALL CALL system and on social media, if there are any changes. Thank you and keep warm and safe.
Sonora ISD - Sonora schools will have a 10 a.m. start on Thursday Feb. 2, 2023. Buses will run two hours late.
Veribest ISD - With the continued below freezing temperatures and the precipitation occurring and expected to occur, Veribest ISD will have a delayed start at 10:00 am for Thursday, February 2. Busses will run two hours later on Thursday.
