Cracking Crab: Craving Crab Restaurant Cans Worker Who Stirred the Social Media Pot

SAN ANGELO, TX – Craving Crab Restaurant Officials Tuesday confirmed that they have fired their former manager who caused a mass walkout just before Christmas.

As previously reported, on Dec. 22, 2022, a number of Craving Crab employees were fired or quit their jobs days before Christmas after an incident with the manager of the restaurant. Now according to the owners of the craving crab, that manager has been fired. In a phone call with San Angelo LIVE! owner Hui Ye confirmed that employees have started to return to work. He claimed that the person was never hired as a manager but instead just a bartender and waitress.

It is unclear how the employee got into the role as manager. Either way, the Craving Crab is asking for their employees to come back to work. Ye claims that some of those employees have already come back.

As for their Facebook, Ye said that they are still trying to gain back control of their social media page. It is unclear who 'hijacked' the page but the restaurant is working on getting away from the drama and back to business.

The Craving Crab moved into San Angelo in Oct. 2021. They are in the former Fast Eddies Pool Hall Building at 4509 Sherwood Way. This restaurant offers a number of seafood and cajun items including cajun crab legs, crawfish, fried fish, and more.
