San Angelo Central QB Tyler Hill Helps Welcome New Downtown Coffee Shop

SAN ANGELO – The former Grind and Brew coffee shop in Downtown San Angelo is now The Grind Coffee and Cafe. To welcome in the new coffee shop starting quarterback for the Central Bobcats Tyler Hill stopped by to greet fans, celebrate the opening, and of course get some coffee.

As previously reported,  in Aug. 2022, the Grind and Brew Cafe called it quits and shut down the trendy coffee shop. With their sales pitch the owners of the Grind and Brew decided to sell the business with everything included.

Jansen Hale and his wife Jennifer saw the ad on Facebook and chose to take advantage of the offer. They ultimately purchased the business and rebranded it as "The Grind Coffee and Cafe."

Hale said in an interview that he and his wife were always foodies which made the decision easier. Check out the interview here: LIVE! Daily TV News: Coffee Shop to Open; Pro-Abortion Protests Planned

One way that the shop is trying to bring in customers is by hosting Coffee with a Quarterback. This week they welcomed San Angelo Central's starting QB Tyler Hill.

The Grind Coffee and Cafe is open six days a week; Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They are located at 220 N. Chadbourne.
