Whataburger Partners with Local Boys & Girls Clubs to Support Students Heading Back to School

SAN ANTONIO – As a result of Whataburger’s Feeding Student Success Back-to-School Program, a total of $170,000 including monetary donations and in-kind gifts such as school supplies, were donated to local Boys & Girls Clubs in honor of its 72nd anniversary this month.

Whataburger’s employees—known as Family Members—spread the pride, care and love they are known for at community events at 20 clubs in nine states. Monetary donations, school supplies and Whataburger food items were provided to the Boys & Girls Clubs in support of youth educational opportunities.

The Whataburger Feeding Student Success Back-to-School Program is part of the company’s year-round signature community program operating at the intersection of food insecurity and education called Whataburger Feeding Student Success.
