The First Nitro Tea Bar in San Angelo is Now Open

SAN ANGELO – The first nitro tea bar in San Angelo is now open.

According to part owner Kylee Halsell, Nobilitea's second location has opened in the 2900 block of Sherwood Way near the new Pizza Hut. The store is unique because it has a nitrogen cooling system which keeps the teas at the perfect temperature.

Nobilitea has been attempting to open the second location since 2020. For the original story see: Popular Tea Store Confirms Second Location in San Angelo

This Nobilitea also offers something the other location does not and that is a drive thru window.

Nobilitea is open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The original location is at 5582 Sherwood Way.

I can't see how a tea shop can thrive in Texas. The vast majority of us know 2 kinds of tea, sweet or not, and Lipton is the #1 choice. I'm not sure how much they're charging for nitro tea, but I stopped drinking iced tea in restaurants when they started asking over $2 for a glass. And somehow, I've had great success keeping my tea at the perfect temperature with a little thing called an ice cube.

This is just another status symbol for the jaded citizens of San Angelo. Like being among the first to get vaxxed for Covid, vote for more taxes, and get monkey pox. It is all about show.
