Feel the Burn: New Hot Workout Studio Coming to San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX – A new 24-hour fitness studio is coming to the Southland area.

According to the building and inspection reports, during Apr. 2022, a $400,000 building permit was approved for the construction of a Hotworx at 2826 Southland Blvd., the Gallery Square shopping center.

Hotworx is a virtually instructed exercise program created for users to experience the many benefits of infrared heat absorption, while completing a 30-minute Isometric workout or 15-minute High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) session.

"Our patented sauna combines heat, infrared, and exercise– what we like to call “3D Training”– and makes Hotworx a workout unlike any other fitness program available," states the Hotworx website. "As the infrared heat penetrates your body causing you to sweat, the isometric postures further accelerate detoxification by physically removing the toxins from your organs through muscle contraction."

San Angelo's location will feature nine different saunas that will hold three people. There are various types of workouts including hot yoga, hoy cycling, and their specialty the Hot Blast. The Hot Blast works on strength, endurance, and cardio for the total body.

Hotworx's general manager, Angie Lynch, confirmed with San Angelo LIVE! that there is still some work to be done but they plan on opening up this summer.
