I have noted a number of houses for sale in San Angelo that have red front doors.  I have always thought such doors to be garish, and a twisted part of my mind flicks back to associating red doors with houses of ill repute.  Is there some kind of trend there that seems to picture red front doors as being attractive?  If so, it doesn't work.
