SAN ANGELO, TX — The coffee isn’t the only thing lifting spirits at San Angelo’s newest coffee shop.
According to part owner Addison Clayton, on Jan. 17, the JC Coffee House opened its doors to customers for a soft opening.
The coffee house, located at 3025 Southwest Blvd., serves a variety of a items including coffee, espresso, teas juices and much more. Additional items, like food, is listed as different types of sandwich’s including their signature B.O.B sandwich.
The B.O.B sandwich has bacon or sausage with cheese and egg served on a bun.
“What I think sets up apart from other coffee shops in San Angelo is our atmosphere,” said Clayton. “Our place is like a home away from home. Everything from the muffins to the syrup in the coffee is made by either myself or my mother-in-law, Shell Smith.”
The JC Coffee House is named after Clayton’s grandfather-in-law, Jack Charlton. After naming with initials JC the group realized it could mean more.
“We are a Christian Based organization,” confirmed Clayton. “This is another reason why we decided to open up.”
The JC Coffee House is open Mon-Sat 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shop will have a Grand Opening on Feb. 11.
