Texas Sues Feds Over Biden's Backdoor Bathroom Order

AUSTIN – Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has sued the Biden Administration over an order directing states to allow trans-gender and LBGTQ+ individuals to select which bathroom they want to use.

Paxton filed a lawsuit against the Biden Administration to stop the June 15 Guidance from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). This guidance requires employers to allow exceptions on the usage of bathrooms, locker rooms, showers, dress codes and even personal pronouns based upon the subjective gender identities of their employees.

This unlawful guidance increases the scope of liability for all employers, including the State of Texas in its capacity as an employer. Under our system, States have the sovereign right to enact their own policies regarding things such as bathroom usage, and this is an extreme federal overreach by the federal government.

“States should be able to choose protection of privacy for their employers over subjective views of gender, and this illegal guidance puts many women and children at risk,” Attorney General Paxton said. “If the Biden Administration thinks they can force states to comply with their political agenda, my office will fight against their radical attempt at social change. These backdoor attempts to force businesses, including the State of Texas, to align with their beliefs is unacceptable.”

I am also jumping on the litigious bandwagon.  My homebuilder put gender neutral bathrooms in my house!!

What is really sad is that the people who are commenting on here have no clue and have not seen what is going on down there. These people live in a bubble. Evidently they do not believe, that drugs, human trafficking do not exist? That Cartel do not exist? Wake up, get off your couch and free money.

Oh those exist, it's just right wing propaganda plays up and exaggerated every negative story. It's being used for political points (trump had a surge in 2019 that was fairly quiet) because republicans don't really have anything else to cry about to their base, and they have to keep their base subservient with a new faux outrage every once in a while or they may wonder off.

Also, I think you replied to the wrong article.

Give me a break! Trump couldn't pass gas without the mainstream media reporting on it for a month straight. Just how long have you been a compulsive liar??? You're not even very good at it.

If you read what I said, it was the republicans who were quiet about it. At least not nearly as vocal about the one under trump as they are now.

I love it. Prime example of reading but not comprehending the black and white words and somehow the word “Republicans” becomes “mainstream media” lol compulsively illiterate, amirite?
