SAN ANGELO – Construction of the roadway crossing on Southwest Blvd. over the Red Arroyo by McDonald's is nearing completion after weather and construction related delays.
According to the City of San Angelo Wednesday, crews are finishing the final touches on the culvert construction and the low water crossing should be complete by the end of September.

The city is reconstructing all of Southwest Blvd. from Twin Mountain Ln. near Lamar Elementary School to Loop 306 by Cavander's.
The $5.9 million project will consist of a mill and overlay drainage and reconstruction work. Up the road at the Southland/Southwest intersection crews are currently working on concreting the intersection. This intersection will be completed in approximately 10-12 weeks. There is also work being done at the low water crossing near Tractor Supply to Loop 306. This entire project is expected to be finished in Apr. 2022.
