Same Day Registration Open for Legislative Summit Wednesday

SAN ANGELO, TX – Preparations are well underway for the 17th annual West Texas Legislative Summit at Angelo State University and there is still room for attendees.

The event is hosted by Congressman August Pfluger, State Senator Charles Perry and State Representative Drew Darby.  Organizers say walk up registration on Wednesday is $125 per person and is open to everyone. There's plenty of room available.

Ten U.S. Congressmen will be in attendance at the C.J. Davidson Center on the Angelo State University campus.

Congressman Pfluger will be the keynote speaker at the luncheon Wednesday and will discuss the Biden Border Crisis. The 17th Annual West Texas Legislative Summit will be held on August 3 and 4, 2021 with the overarching theme of “Beyond COVID-19”. Each year the summit rotates from a federally centered theme to a locally centered theme. This allows an opportunity for our Honorary Co-Hosts- Congressman Pfluger, Senator Perry, and State Representative Darby- to address issues from the federal or state level which directly impact our industries. The 2021 Summit will focus on federal issues and will offer insight on various topics.

I guess so! Why would I pay 125$ to listen to politicians that I pay tell me how evil the other side is? The elite will because it gets them influence but a poor working stiff that isn’t a big contributor is of no value to the former CHS QB.
