Tom Green County Detention Facility to Host Job Fair

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office will be hosting a job fair for the detention facility in March.

The fair will take place on March 18 – 19.

Thursday's event will run from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. while Friday's event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

According to the sheriff's office, employees will begin at $16.80 an hour and will have a variety of benefits.

These include:

  • $16.80 an hour
  • Medical, dental, retirement, and life insurance
  • Meals provided while on duty
  • 24-hour access to a fitness room
  • Locker rooms
  • Every other weekend off
