Abilene Store Sign Goes Viral

ABILENE, TX -- On Monday afternoon an image of a sign saying "No Democrates Allowed" went viral on Twitter. The sign was prominently featured in front of R & R Appliances.

Local media discovered that the sign, which was number four on Twitter for a bit, was located in front of a local Abilene store.

The owner of the used appliances store, Gary Rutledge, was interviewed after the sign went viral.

"I have the right to freedom of speech, I've given fair warning. Don't come in my store," said Rutledge.

Twitter users had a field day with the sign. From joking that the signed referred to Democrates,  a Pythagorean philosopher of which little is know, to what a box of democrats may look like.

According to Rutledge, he believes the left stole the elections and is trying to transform the U.S. into a socialist country.

"I don't hate democrats, I just don't want to be around them, don't want anything to do with them," said Rutledge.

Six weeks to the day after the election was held no credible proof of widespread fraud has been accepted by courts of any level. On Monday, the Electoral College voted to certify Joe Biden's win.

According to Rutledge, he will not remove the sign, but he may correct the spelling.
