Beloved San Angelo Business Closing After 50 Years

SAN ANGELO, TX – A longtime San Angelo business has decided to close its doors after 50 years.

According to the Korona's Formal Wear Facebook, on August 26, the store will be closing at the end of October.

The local bridal shop has been serving the San Angelo community for over 50 years at the location at 1819 Knickerbocker Road, across from San Angelo Football Stadium.

"Oh my goodness! I always dreamed of going to Koronas first one day when I start to look for a wedding dress, this is so sad," commented saddened customer Madi Barron. "THANK YOU to Patti and Amy for always making me feel and look beautiful in every dress I bought there, and the fashion show I was in for the wedding convention. Going to Koronas was such a big part my my teenage and growing up years, I forever will remember you all"

Korona's offered a number of things such as wedding dresses and tuxedos. They claimed they had the largest selection of gowns, formal shoes, jewelry and prom dresses in West Texas. We also offer tiaras, bridal veils and flower girl dresses.
