These Dairy Queen Blizzards Available for a Limited Time

BEDFORD, TX– The temperatures may have heated things up in Texas, but a cold front is sweeping across the state with the sweet cool taste of two treats from Texas Dairy Queen. Oreo Cheesecake and Frosted Animal Cookie are two great Blizzard flavors that have arrived in June for a limited time.

“Summer is always the perfect time to experience a Blizzard at a Texas Dairy Queen,” said Lou Romanus, CEO of the Texas Dairy Queen Operators’ Council. “If you love cookies, this is the right opportunity to enjoy the Oreo Cheesecake or Frosted Animal Cookie and take a trip down memory lane reminiscing about your childhood or introducing these treats to the next generation.”

Oreo Cheesecake Blizzard includes Oreo cookie pieces and cheesecake pieces blended with the TDQ world-famous soft serve. The Frosted Animal Cookie Blizzard is a frozen balance of DQ soft service, frosted animal cookie pieces and pink confetti frosting creating a scrumptious treat. Both Blizzards are available through August and join a lineup of limited time flavors such as the Cotton Candy Blizzard; Raspberry Fudge Bliss Blizzard; S’mores Blizzard, and the Royal Rocky Road Trip Blizzard.

Texas Dairy Queen’s continue to serve their full menu via drive-thru windows, pick-up and take-out, as well as delivery and online ordering, where available.
