United Way Has Emergency Funding for Shelter and Food

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The United Way of the Concho Valley announced Friday Tom Green County has received $84,248 in government (taxpayer) funding through the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP), Phase 37 is $34,731 and Phase CARES is $49,517. EFSP released these funds to ease the burden on health and human service agencies that provide emergency food and shelter.   Where this funding goes will be decided by a group of community volunteers in accordance to needs and expenditures of the applying agency.
The United Way of the Concho Valley encourages agencies seeking any type of funding (rent, utility, food pantries, etc.) to email Aspen Robert at [email protected] for more information, requirements and application.
