San Angeloans Line Up to Rent Cars While Hail Damaged Vehicles are Repaired

SAN ANGELO, TX – As the thunderstorms from Thursday evening passed they left many San Angelo streets littered with debris and countless vehicles riddled with extensive hail damage.  What started out as a hot May afternoon quickly turned into an evening full of heavy hail fire as a a line of thunderstorms tore up parts of San Angelo throughout the evening.

This morning a long line could be seen formed outside of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car office as property owners struggle to find a temporary replacement so that damages from last nights storms can be asses and repaired.

Many San Angelo LIVE viewers reported seeing hail anywhere from golf ball up to orange size chunks that quickly tore up houses, and pounded countless vehicles relentlessly through the night.

Although, only .70 of an inch of rain was recorded throughout the evening there's no telling exactly how much damage was left behind.

When property owners finally got the opportunity to asses the damages this morning it was clear that vehicle damage would far outweigh almost any damages left to houses.
