Local Health Authority Gradually Relaxing Restrictions on Public Spaces

 
SAN ANGELO, TX – Local Health Authority, Dr. Vretis has rescinded previous orders for San Angelo and is relaxing restrictions on public areas according to communications late Wednesday.
Here is what's changing and when:

This order rescinds previous orders by the Local Health Authority regarding:

- All restrictions on public areas of apartment complexes and hotels within the City of San Angelo are rescinded effective immediately. 

- All restrictions on recreational activities within the City of San Angelo are hereby rescinded as of 12 a.m. on June 1, 2020. This includes but is not limited to all skating areas, basketball courts, beaches, and camping areas.

 
Although these restrictions have been lifted, we still need citizens to do their part and continue social distancing practices, hand hygiene, and disinfection practices.
 

Please follow the governors guidance when it comes to parks/beaches/bodies of water. From the document, "Individuals should avoid being in a group larger than 10 individuals.
