San Angelo Gives Raises $2.6 Million In 24 Hours

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – After 24 hours of donations and gifts San Angelo raised $2,677,064 through San Angelo Gives that benefits 189 organizations in the Concho Valley.

“The spirit of philanthropy is strong in our community and collectively we have increased awareness and raised impactful dollars for important causes in the Concho Valley," said San Angelo Gives in a statetment.

With over 10,000 individual donations, the community came together to support their favorite non-profits.

“We are in the process of verifying all gifts, prize awards, and amplification numbers for all organizations. We will soon announce the final numbers and official prize winners.”

The 10 organizations to receive the highest donations amounts are the following:

  • Cornerstone Christian School – $141,180
  • House of Faith – $136,225
  • Meals For The Elderly – $110,375
  • Rust Street Ministries – $108,661
  • San Angelo Christian Academy – $95,425
  • Boy Scouts of America, Texas Southwest Council – $86,460
  • Pregnancy Help Center of Concho Valley – $82,332
  • West Texas Counseling & Guidance – $73,225
  • Concho Valley Regional Food Bank – $70,150
  • Wesley Trinity Daily Bread Program – $69,893
