Abilene Strip Club Starts Selling Masks, Toilet Paper, & Hand Sanitizer

ABILENE, TX -- As communities adjust to the new normal during the coronavirus pandemic, an Abilene business is doing its part to stay open while providing essential items.

According to KTXS, Cloud 9 Cabaret, a local strip club, has switched its business model after they were forced to close its doors during the limited shelter in place. Sexually oriented businesses were part of the non-essential business that were forced to close.

The strip club announced over the weekend it  is now selling “fashion facemasks”, hand sanitizer, and toilet paper.

Abilene Police Chief Stan Stanbridge stated the department continued to receive calls that the strip club was open and that since Cloud 9 "changed its business model in light of COVID-19," they would no longer be dispatching officers to the club for calls.

"If you are in need of those products, you are welcome to patronize Cloud 9," said Standridge.
