Local Sporting Goods Store Flooded With Business During Coronavirus Pandemic

SAN ANGELO, TX – As many people around town have started doomsday prepping San Angelo's own Field & Streams Sporting Goods Store has seen a boost in the number of customers.

The sporting goods store, located at the corner of West Loop 306 and Glenna, was filled with customers Friday after the governor declared Texas in a state of emergency Thursday.

"It's been pretty busy." said an employee of Field & Stream. "We haven't seen people stock up like this since Obama."

Most of the hunting and fishing supplies are still in stock but ammunition is the fastest thing flying off of the shelves.

To combat panic buying Field and Streams has limited the number of certain items that can be purchased at one time. This includes ammunition but other items as well.
