SAN ANGELO, TX – The Concho Valley will be under a freeze warning Thursday morning from 1 a.m. to 10 a.m. and there are some delays in area school start times.
Here is a list of delays and closings:
The Paint Rock Independent School District has delayed class start time until 10 a.m. and buses will run two hours late.
We will update this list as new information becomes available.
A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly.
Those that have in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above- ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
