SAN ANGELO, TX – Angelo State students will soon be able to enjoy the flavors and hospitality of Lillie’s Pizza. The pizza bar will be opening in the next few weeks in the shopping center at the intersection of Johnson and Vanderventer.
The pizza bar was created with the vision to give students a place to enjoy good food at an affordable price. The menu will feature items hamburgers, wings and of course pizza. Lillie’s will be open 6 days a week from 11 am – 10 pm, perfect for an early lunch or late dinner.
Lillie’s will feature a bar and separate dining area to accommodate all patrons. Big-screen TVs will be placed in the bar area for patrons to watch football or basketball or whatever sport may be in season as they drink beer and sip wine.
The inside of the restaurant has been refurbished to create a new atmosphere and bring a feeling of hospitality and relaxation. Zeka commented on the extensive renovations that had to be made to the restaurant. According to Zeka it hadn’t been renovated or refurbished for several decades.
“We have to put a lot of work into this building, it was a mess,” said Zeka.
The owner of Lillie’s, Bekim Zeka, has another restaurant in town, Napoli’s Italian Restaurant on Chadbourne St, and is excited about opening a more casual setting for patrons.
