SAN ANGELO, TX – Signals at West Concho Avenue & South Koenigheim Street will become operational Monday, Sept. 16, marking the completion of the West Concho Avenue Widening Project.
“Northbound U.S. 87 (Bryant/Koenigheim St) at West Concho Avenue will be an all-way stop condition beginning Friday, Sept. 13, 2019 through the morning of Monday, Sept. 16, 2019,” said Kevin Pate, Asst. City Engineer. “The signal will begin normal operation beginning Monday, Sept. 16, 2019. Please drive with caution at this intersection.”
The project has impacted motorists seeking to access First Financial Bank at 222 S. Koenigheim St., the YMCA at 353 S. Randolph St., West Texas Fire & Industrial Supply at 138 W. Concho Ave., Concho Office Suites at 133 W.
Concho Ave and the 300 block of W. Concho Ave.
The project includes a complete rebuild of West Concho from South Randolph to South Koenigheim, new traffic signals at West Concho and South Koenigheim, and replacement of a water line. Local firm Reece Albert contracted the project.
