Dogs Are Now Welcomed Again at the Animal Shelter

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The animal shelter is now accepting dogs once again.

According to the City of San Angelo, August 30, the San Angelo Animal Shelter will be accepting dogs again after a recent stint of not taking any.

The period of non-acceptance came due to an outbreak of Mycoplasma, or a flu like disease for dogs.

The outbreak occurred two weeks ago and now the shelter has received a good report from the veterinarian regarding the health of the animal shelter.

The animal shelter is located at 3142 US-67.
