SAN ANGELO, TX -- The JL Bar Ranch Resort in Sonora held a benefit clay bird shoot in July for Cooks Children's Pediatric Specialties in San Angelo and presented a check for the proceeds Friday.
According to Holly Aldridge with Cooks Children's, they have a community clinic in several cities where they have a lot of patients.
Holly Rose with the JL Bar Ranch presented Aldridge with the check in the amount of $1,150 Friday afternoon at 3 p.m.
The benefit clay bird shoot was held on July 5 and 6 at the resort ten miles east of Sonora.
The San Angelo clinic serves about 150 to 175 patients per month.
Aldridge says Pediatric Specialists with Cooks Children's Hospital in Ft. Worth come to San Angelo to see patients here rather than them having to travel to Ft. Worth for treatment.
