Storm Recovery Forum Set for Bradford Elementary Tuesday

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The City of San Angelo is hosting a town hall forum Tuesday, May 28, to offer information to storm victims about recovery resources.

The gathering begins at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria of Bradford Elementary School, 2301 Bradford St.

The neighborhood around the campus suffered the most serious damage when a May 18 thunderstorm produced tornadic winds in the area. The forum is open to all citizens.

Among the topics that will be discussed at the forum will be ensuring building contractors have proper permits and licensing before starting home repairs, potential disputes with landlords, available social services, further disposal of storm debris, tips on filing insurance claims, and the possibility of home repair assistance.
