Walmart to Raise Minimum Age to Buy Tobacco to 21

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Walmart announced on Wednesday that they will be making the minimum age to buy all tobacco and nicotine products 21-years-old. 

Although the law in many states around the country for the minimum age to be 18 Walmart says that they will raise the age to 21. 

According to CBS 7, last month, drugstore operator Walgreens also said it would increase the minimum age for tobacco sales to 21.

This is will not only effect Walmart but Sam's Club warehouses as well.
