WATCH: TxDOT Repaving Causing Traffic Delays on Sherwood Way

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Motorists on Sherwood Way between Loop 306 and FM 2288 in front of the new H-E-B were experiencing major delays Monday as Reece Albert Crews began repaving the roadway. 

Texas Department of Transportation Public Information Officer Karen Threlkeld said Monday they paved the same section of roadway recently, but truck traffic is causing problems.

Road crews continue to work on the $22 million replacement project on Bell St.

The Bell St. project is expected to take three years to complete while the Sherwood Way project should be complete in two weeks. 

The Bell St. project is a City of San Angelo operation while the Sherwood Way repaving is a Texas Department of Transportation project.
