SAN ANGELO, TX – La Esperanza Clinic Inc. hosted a meet and greet with new Chief Executive Officer Dean Munn on Tuesday at the Stephens Central Library.
Munn was hired as the CEO on Feb. 4 after serving San Angelo ISD for three years. Munn moved into San Angelo in 1985 and received a degree in Business Administration and Finance as well as a master's degree in Educational Administration.
"I took this job as a new adventure and a new challenge." said Munn on why he has joined the Clinic. "The moment of I read the mission statement I said to myself lets go."
The mission of La Esperanza Clinic is to provide quality primary and preventive health care dental services to all people, particularly the medically underserved of San Angelo and the Concho Valley. By providing quality medical care, dental care, and mental heath care in a healing, compassionate, and culturally sensitive environment, we can make a difference in our community.
Munn isn't going to be jumping into the job making big changes. "If it's not broken, don't fix it." continued Munn. "They've been doing really great things, they have great people, great providers, great staff, so my main thing is to learning for myself and to never settle."
La Esperanza has two locations. One at 1610 S. Chadbourne and the other at 35 E. 31st Street.
