SAN ANGELO, TX — The Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department procured a new fire truck. The truck, labeled “Tender 98” will be placed into service Saturday in a special ceremony.
The event begins at 2 p.m. and will last approximately one hour. The Grape Creek volunteers are serving refreshments, putting on demonstrations, and offering firehouse tours. Attend and you can take home a commemorative Grape Creek VFD gift towel.
Sparky the Fire Dog will also be there to greet children.
The Grape Creek VFD Fire Station is located at 7912 Wren Road, San Angelo, TX 76901.
