Concho Valley Transit Bus Pass System Going Electronic

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The Concho Valley Transit system announced today it will convert to an electronic bus pass system on Feb.1.

According to information from the CVT and the Concho Valley Council of Governments, the local public transportation system has been working on the new Electronic Buss Pass service for six months. Token Transit Technologies is providing a user friendly mobile app which will allow anyone anywhere to purchase a bus pass for CVT's fixed route or demand response transportation services.

That means riders no longer have to go to the Depot or pay with exact change for tickets.

According to CVT, organizations will also be able to utilize the service for their clients and send prepaid passes to them.

Patrons can go to www.tokentransit.com to get the app or text TOKEN to 41411 to download a link.
