SAN ANGELO, TX — Since San Angelo is growing at a fast rate, new businesses are popping up all over the town.
Hooter's, Newk's Eatery, and as of November, Bridgestone-Firestone Auto care will be opening up new locations.
Hooter's has just put up their sign, and they are scheduled to open around mid-March. "The building should be done around February." said the Director of Construction Services for Outland Enterprises Trent Smith earlier this year. "It'll take them about three or four weeks to hire and train, so it should open about mid-March."
Newk's Eatery is located at 5582 Sherwood Way, Suite 100, and plans to open in early 2019. Newk's was founded in 2004 by the same team who opened the local favorite McAlister’s Deli. "We are obsessed with discovering new recipes and re-imagining old favorites – especially our Newcomb Family Recipes," said Newk's founder and CEO Chris Newcomb. "We insist on sourcing the finest ingredients. We are uncompromising about quality from the kitchen to table and our dedication to personal service. That’s a passion shared by everyone you will meet at Newk’s." Newk's top items include French DIp Sliders, Pumpkin Spice Cake, and Italian Chopped Salad.
Bridgestone-Firestone Auto Care is opening its third San Angelo location. They requested a permit in November to place the auto care center at the previous Cork and Pig Tavern location at 2201 Knickerbocker Rd. This $1.2 million dollar project will bring a brand new facility that will be open seven days a week.

All the upcoming breast enhancement surgeries should be fully healed by mid-March. Remember to tip well so they can afford the liposuction they'll need after they take full advantage of the employee discount on food items.

PermalinkI hope both of these restaurants make it as we have seen many of them close due to lack of business. Never heard of Newks and probably won’t go there until the crowds die down. Wish them both the best of luck! As for the Firestone, I like that it is 24x7 so it should do well
