Goodfellow AFB Conducting Active Shooter Exercise Thursday

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Goodfellow Air Force Base authorities are advising area residents that base military personnel will be conducting an active shooter exercise on Thursday Dec. 13.

According to information from the 17th Training Wing Public Affairs office, residents may hear the loud speaker on the base announcing weather and safety conditions during the exercise.

Base personnel say civilians may experience some delays at the gate because of the heightened security measures on Thursday.

Anyone with questions can contact Goodfellow Public Affairs at (325) 654-3876.
