Unique Clothing Store Celebrating 5 Years in Business

SAN ANGELO, TX – A local boutique clothing store, So Unique Boutique, is have its five-year anniversary sale beginning Thursday, Nov. 1.

The sale will continue for three days Thursday through Saturday Nov. 3.

When owner Tiffany Nelson opened the boutique in 2013, her goal was to “provide affordable trendy clothing to girls without breaking the bank, and to keep things cute but keep girls on budget.”

“I was worried when I opened because there are so many boutiques in town and I knew I had a lot of competition but I opened up with the goal of finding out who my market was and catering to them and what they wanted and not worry about what other boutiques are doing,” Nelson said.

So Unique Boutique gets new arrivals every week meaning when a certain style is sold out, it’s most likely not going to be restocked. Nelson updates the store’s Facebook and Instagram pages when new shipments come in and what was ordered. She carries women’s tops, jeans, dresses, shoes, accessories, jewelry and home fragrances with sizes ranging from XS-3X.

So Unique Boutique also has a tanning salon. Three beds are available for 15 minutes each. A one month pass is $33 or a single tan is $5.50.

Tiffany Nelson will be representing So Unique Boutique at the Ladies Night Out event on November 15 from 5-9 p.m. at the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Dr. General admission tickets are $5.50 and are available at form.jotform.us.

So Unique Boutique’s annual Black Friday and Saturday Sale will be from November 23 through 24, and a Countdown to Christmas sale will begin on Saturday, December 1.

“Every day until Christmas Day a different item will be promoted and offered a discount,” Nelson said. “The Countdown Calendar will be posted on December 1 on the So Unique Boutique Facebook and Instagram pages so customers can plan ahead.”

So Unique Boutique is located in the Sherwood Plaza shopping center at 2901 Sherwood Way.
