St. Therese Catholic Church Annual Festival Draws Thousands

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The parking lot at the Knights of Columbus Hall in San Angelo was full for three hours around noon Sunday as St. Therese Catholic Church in Carlsbad held its annual festival.

The annual festival is the small parish's largest fundraiser of the year.  They served thousands of plates of brisket, homemade German sausage, beans and potato salad in the dining haul and at a drive through facility located in the front of the parking lot.

There was a silent auction, a country store, Bingo, and games for the all ages.

The live auction began around 1:15 p.m. Sunday.

Similar fall festivals are held annually at several area parishes.
