SAN ANGELO,TX -- Water Distribution crews completed the repairs to the significant water main break in southwest San Angelo late Thursday night according to information from the city public information department.
The line was returned to service Friday morning.
According to San Angelo Public Information Officer Anthony Wilson, their work since Tuesday afternoon has been nothing short of heroic.
We are proud to call them ours.
The San Angelo City Council on Tuesday is poised to reduce water rates and ease drought watering restrictions.

Reminds me of the joke about the guide showing Niagara Falls to the man from Texas, then saying "I bet you don't have anything like that in Texas, to which the Texan replied, "Nope, but we got plumbers who can fix it!" Great job by the city water works employees for repairing that main in what must have been one hot, dirty , wet, miserable place to work in!
