San Angelo Schlotzskys Applies for a Permit to Sell Wine & Beer

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Schlotzsky's restaurant is San Angelo will soon start selling wine and beer.  

According to the restaurant's website, the change will include the name the West Harris Restaurant and Eatery, at least on the website.  

There is a sign posted in the front window that states, "An application to sell and consume alcoholic beverages is proposed for this location."  

In a recent interview, Schlotzsky's president  Kelly Roddy said, "Everything we’ve done has been inspired by the culinary spirit of Austin and the culture of Austin."

"The biggest difference is really the look and the feel of the restaurant.” 

Roddy says one of the goals is to better connect with millennials.  

In addition to wine and beer there will be new menu items including tacos and sliders.  

The application is for a wine and beer retailer's permit and a food and beverage certificate.

The name on the application is Schlotzskys, 302 W. Harris.

The application is dated July 14, 2018.
