Angelo MRI Now Accepting Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance

SAN ANGELO, TX — Angelo MRI, the independent Magnetic Resonance Imaging facility located in San Angelo, now accepts Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas insurance.

“This was the most requested insurance since opening in January,” said Angelo MRI’s managing partner Clint Reichenau.

Already, Angelo MRI accepts UHC, UHC Medicare, Medicare (Traditional Plan), Humana, Galaxy Health, Kempton, Multiplan, US Imaging, and USA Work Comp.

Angelo MRI will begin accepting all Aetna Insurance beginning Aug. 1.

Where a patient gets an MRI is the patient’s choice. And by choosing Angelo MRI, already hundreds of patients in the region have saved thousands of dollars.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging is available with same day appointments. A basic MRI is $449 and an MRI with enhanced contrast is $799. The pricing is all-inclusive and there is no extra charge for the diagnostic reading. Angelo MRI scans are read by Blue Star Radiology, the official radiologist group for the Dallas Cowboys.

Choosing Angelo MRI will save patients money for imaging services because the independent, locally owned, and stand-alone MRI facility charges much less than hospital facilities. Meanwhile, the quality is as good or better than the higher cost MRIs.

Angelo MRI at 4114 S. Jackson St., in San Angelo, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. For questions or an appointment, call them at (325) 703-6741.
