SAN ANGELO, TX -- Arbor Terrace Healthcare Center renovations are underway at the senior care facility located on the Concho River near the McNease Convention Center.
According to Arbor Terrace administrator John Lane, the renovations are expected to take six months.
The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce and Arbor Terrace held a groundbreaking ceremony last Thursday at the facility at 609 Rio Concho Drive.
“We greatly appreciate all of the support the community is giving us and we are excited to be able to offer a better environment for community to receive short term therapy services, our residents to live and our staff to work.” Lane said.
According to the Arbor Terrace website, the facility offers both private and semi-private accommodations, residents are given the opportunity to make their surroundings feel like home. Arbor Terrace’s priority is to make the resident feel comfortable while providing the best possible care. The building layout provides a secure environment with easy accessibility, as well as a quiet setting and cozy atmosphere for conversation and leisure retreats.

The skilled nursing facility specializes in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care and hospice care. Arbor Terrace has 56 employees.
San Angelo Chamber of Commerce members, San Angelo City Councilman Harry Thomas and members of the Concho Cadre joined staff, patients and family and friends participated in the Thursday groundbreaking.
