Sam's Club Corporate Responds to Bad Gas at San Angelo Store

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Several area residents reported car trouble after getting gas at the Sam's Club in San Angelo on Saturday.  

Sam's Club Corporate Communications Senior Manager Laura Ladd Poff issued the following statement to San Angelo Live Wednesday concerning the problem:

“Saturday afternoon our fuel supplier mixed-up the fuel in some of our diesel and unleaded tanks at Sam’s Club #4948 in San Angelo, TX. As soon as we discovered the problem, we shut down the pumps and began the process of correcting the situation. Everything is now fixed and we encourage anyone who was impacted by this to please contact club management. We take our commitment of giving our members the highest quality product seriously and we apologize for the inconvenience. We are working with the supplier to address our members’ concerns quickly.”
