H-E-B Recalls Store Brand Olives

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- (Press Release)  H-E-B has voluntarily recalled its store brand Ode to Olives Sliced Salad Olives in ten ounce jars with a best by date of Nobv. 3, 2019.  

The grocery store chain says the recall is due to the possible presence of glass in olives.  

"There have been no injuries reported due to this incident which customers reported to H-E-B.  All products related to this recall were sold in Texas stores and have been removed from store shelves."  According to the release. 

H-E-B says it is working closely with the maufacturer to ensure all safety measures are being taken.  

The product is H-E-B Ode to Olives Sliced Salad Olives with a UPC code of 4122094866 in a ten ounce jar.  

Customers who purchased the olives can return them to H-E-B for a full refund.
