Engine Pro Machine of San Angelo Nominated for Small Business Administration Award

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State University Small Business Development Center is pleased to announce that Danny and Lucy Nuñez, owners and managers of Engine Pro Machine in San Angelo, were nominated by the ASU SBDC to represent San Angelo as a nominee for the Annual SBA District awards. Each year the ASU-SBDC team may nominate local businesses and small business champions in a variety of categories for the annual event. 

The Minority Small Business of the Year Award recognizes creative entrepreneurs who have had evidence of success and have demonstrated the entrepreneurial potential necessary for long-term business success. 

Dave Erickson, Director of the ASU Small Business Development Center stated, “Danny and Lucy are a vital asset to the downtown small business community. Their contribution and outstanding efforts are undeniable and make them deserving of the Minority Small Business of the Year Award."

Danny and Lucy Nuñez, along with their son DJ Nuñez were recognized at the May Advisory Council meeting of the ASU-SBDC as the 2018 Local Minority Small Business of the Year. They were presented with a plaque to commemorate this honor.   The award presentation took place on Friday, May 18, 2018 at the ASU Small Business Development Center during the ASU SBDC Advisory Committee Luncheon.
