Tropical Smoothie Cafe Takes Over Old Arby's Building

SAN ANGELO, TX — The large dumpster outside the old Arby’s building at 3333 Knickerbocker Rd. gave a clue that something is going to occupy the building finally after years of being empty.

Tropical Smoothie Café is said to be occupying the building once construction is finished. The construction crew said that the renovations are going to be finished around mid-May.

There is no word on when the café will open to the public.

The closest Tropical Smoothie Café is located in Midland, but the original store is in Tallahassee, Florida.

“Our mission, to this day, is to inspire a healthier lifestyle by serving amazing food and smoothies… with a bit of tropical fun,” states the Tropical Smoothie Café website. “Tropical Smoothie Café’s menu boasts bold, flavorful smoothies with a healthy appeal, all made-to-order from the freshest ingredients.

The popular smoothie shop added a delicious variety of sandwiches, wraps, bowls, flatbreads, and more to match perfectly with the tropical smoothies they produce. For more information on the menu and smoothie ideas, go to their website.

Didn't a few try this already and close? Yeah they did. The banks here must love loaning money to folks just to see them fail.

Hope Tio Sancho is doing all the work cheap. And the place is left nice enough to be used by the next occupant. They will do well for the summer, heck who doesn’t enjoy a good smoothie in the summer. With all the new muchies in Angelo, ole Angelo should be growing. I mean the residents ya know.
