Grand Opening Announced for Pina's Cafe

SAN ANGELO, TX – The owner of Pina's BBQ food truck, and an unnamed partner, is opening a restaurant you can sit down at.  Pina's Cafe opens Monday, Dec. 18 at 2402 Martin Luther King Drive.

They plan on opening their doors seven days a week from 5 a.m. till 2 p.m. to begin.  Depending on business they will open for later hours closing at 9 p.m.

They will serve breakfast and lunch burritos, "Mexican" food and the bar-b-que San Angelo has come to love from their food truck.

"You always want a building," said Joe Pina, owner of Pina's BBQ food truck that serves Central students and others,"For a food truck you need a commissary kitchen.  It's nice to have everything in one place."

There are currently no plans to add alcohol to their menu but they will think about it as the business grows and requests for it come in.
